CJ Hauser (they/them) has an MFA and a PhD in Creative Writing. They have published both fiction and nonfiction books with Doubleday and Harper Collins and Viking UK. They have also worked in publishing on the agency side and offered editorial letters to established writers. They teach creative writing workshops at Colgate University.

includes 20 minute pre-feedback meeting to guide CJs feedback, handwritten marginalia, an editorial letter, 40 minute post-feedback meeting with Cj IRL in Brooklyn or on Zoom.

This is not a revision/editorial service, this is a manuscript consultation! I believe in reading work in progress and responding both by thinking big (about desire and stakes and drive and style) and thinking small (about how craft is at work in the pages so far).
